Amigurumi animals.

Good morning to you! It's a lovely lazy Sunday and i intend to do just that, be a little bit lazy. I may also be a bit productive later on, it depends if i feel like it.

So, for the minute i'm going to drink strong black coffee, have a lovey breakfast and relax. How Lovely.

What are you up to today? Got busy Sunday plans or are you going to be a like me?

I bought another craft book yesterday, i really just couldn't resist. It's called Amigurumi Animals by Annie Obaachan.

Amiguruni is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll. Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features, as is typical in Japanese culture.

I really want to learn how to make them and this book seems to give a really clear and basic instructions. So i will have a go and let you know how i get on.

Plus one of the animals is called, 'Grumpy tiny mohair bear', how could i resist!
