A granny a day.
Following on from my post the other day, the one where i shared a tutorial on how to master the basics for crocheting a granny square, i have decided to take part in Pip's (of Meet Me At Mikes fame) idea of 'A Granny A Day'.
The idea is simple. Instead of being put off by the idea of having to make hundreds of granny squares to finish a blanket you just limit yourself to one a day (just what it says on the tin). This way, without realizing it you'll soon have created lots and lots of lovely squares for your blanket.
I have to admit that i started a blanket a while ago and it as gone by the wayside of late. I really want to get back into making it again so this is just the kick up the bum i need.
If this is something you'd be interested in, check out Pip's blog here. You can put a link on her blog linking back to your blog so others can see how you're getting on. Yay, communal craftiness!
