Good evening to you. Are you well? Having a good weekend?
I am. I had a great night last night and a fun day at work today. Plus i get to spend some quality time with my mum and gran tomorrow for mothers day. And eat a massive roast. The perfect Sunday in my book!
However as happy as i have been i am also a little sad. Do you ever feel like you wish you could wave a magic wand and make someone else feel better? Take away the pain, give them a hug and make them smile. That's also how i'm feeling today too. I guess sometimes you just have to be there when you're needed and send all your love. But it sucks seeing the people you love go through something so tough.
However, i don't want you lovely people to feel down so i'm also going to show you this door (sorry for the random changes of topic today, i'm a wee bit hungover and my mind is being a flibbertigibbet). I know, not that interesting sounding is it. A door. But check it out. This might be the best door i have ever seen. Definitely top 5 (i make it sounds like i spend a lot of time rating doors, i don't but i didn't want to casually give it the top spot). Although if you were late and stressed i can see it turning into a bit of a nightmare!
Hold on i'm just trying to get the door open......

A granny a day.
Following on from my post the other day, the one where i shared a tutorial on how to master the basics for crocheting a granny square, i have decided to take part in Pip's (of Meet Me At Mikes fame) idea of 'A Granny A Day'.
The idea is simple. Instead of being put off by the idea of having to make hundreds of granny squares to finish a blanket you just limit yourself to one a day (just what it says on the tin). This way, without realizing it you'll soon have created lots and lots of lovely squares for your blanket.
I have to admit that i started a blanket a while ago and it as gone by the wayside of late. I really want to get back into making it again so this is just the kick up the bum i need.
If this is something you'd be interested in, check out Pip's blog here. You can put a link on her blog linking back to your blog so others can see how you're getting on. Yay, communal craftiness!

Doodling a Smile.
Good morning!
I want to show you these prints i've found by Lim Heng Swee, his shop in Etsy is called Doodling a Smile. You can find them here.
I think they're all really cute!

Printing drawer.
Well a good evening to you! What are you up to this evening? Anything good? I am knackered after a long old day at work and am very much looking forward to eating my supper and relaxing, maybe with a good box set. I need some new ones so if anyone has any suggestions of good things to watch i would really appreciate it! I'm thinking maybe 24, as i've heard that's good. Or maybe i might start watching the West Wing again as i already have that. Have you seen it? It's fab.
Today i wanted to show you my pride and joy. It's the old printers drawer that is hung in my lounge. I bought it off Ebay and have spent a long time filling it with things that make me happy.
There are all sorts of things tucked away in there, each with their special own little space.
What do you think? Do you like it?
I can't remember where i got the idea from, but it seems many people are liking the thought of turning something old into something interesting:
I think in the last picture the drawer has been turned into a jewellery stand, which is an excellent idea. I might have to get another one and do that. Yup.
