A day in the sunshine.

Wasn't yesterday wonderful! The first proper day of spring. I wandered about without my coat on and even had a picnic. It was brilliant!

My dad and i went up to Greenwich to visit my sister, and we couldn't have had a better day for it. We decided to have our lunch in the park and then walked up to the Observatory.

I spotted this chap when we went and had a mooch about the shops. Gotta love a nutcracker!

We then went into the best junk shop i have even been in. Room after room of all sorts of wonderful things. I spotted these 1980s milk bottles and couldn't resist. I'm going to put flowers in them.

What have you been up to in the sunshine?

My new favorite thing.

On Sunday i went and had a roast dinner with the family, it was a truly lovely afternoon.

At some point during the afternoon was talking to my little sister and mentioned that i have always wanted a typewriter.  And so she she gave me this little beauty!

I love him and i will now be able to type out labels for all the bits and bobs that i make. Hooray!

Banana and blueberry loaves.

Good morning! Are you well this Monday morning? I do hope so.

The other day my boiler broke. Right in the middle of a cold snap. Darn.

I was very chilly waiting for the man to come and fix it so to keep warm i turned on the oven. And then i decided i might as well make use of it (silly not to) so i whipped up some banana bread. And it was very tasty!

Any excuse to give Betty a work out!

I was given these very cute loaf cases for Christmas. I think they look fab, all spotty and flowery.

I promise i didn't eat them all myself........but i did eat quite a few!
